SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone’s software. This includes teaching domain expertise, providing technical guidance and mentoring, supporting internal customers, resolving problems, and training as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in the development life cycle.
- Develop and/or maintain software applications and/or enterprise systems.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment. Continuous learning of AutoZone Culture, Methodology, Architecture, and Software.
- Mentor and teach less experienced AutoZoners.
- Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff and teammates.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's degree Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of professional programming with Java.
- Professional experience with Springboot.
- Professional experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Operative Systems (UNIX, Linux, and/or Windows).
Databases (Oracle, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL).
- Expert problem-solving, domain technical, and analytical skills.
- Advanced task estimation and planning skills.
- Ability to teach coach and mentor.
- Professional English communication.
