Job Summary
Great client is seeking a highly motivated skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. This individual would be part of the sensing systems division. This team designs, manufactures and tests radiation detectors for nuclear reactors. Candidate must hold a BSEE or EET degree,with experience working within a manufacturing environment, as well as experience with electrical testing, material review, and analog circuits.

Responsibilities
- Individual will analyze, understand, and interpret design documents, interact with other engineers and teams at various levels to ensure high quality analyses and calculations, and develop documentation related to calculations and analysis.
- Perform rigorous engineering analysis, calculations, and interpretation of design documents to ensure product integrity.
- Create and verify technical specifications (materials, parts, manufacturing, tests) and develop comprehensive engineering and test reports.
- Act as the technical expert to support and resolve issues for the Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Sales teams.
- Mentor and support engineering associates on design analysis and specification reviews.
- Design experiments and prepare technical reports on test results.
- Manage required business travel (approximately 5%).
- Must have a B.S in Electrical Engineering or related science from an accredited college or university.
- Previous experience working within a Manufacturing facility environment
- Working knowledge of electrical testing and expertise in Material Review
- Creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Working knowledge of engineering software tools (e.g. AutoCad Inventor, Matlab, Ansys FEA, etc.).
- Proficient with MS Office Products (Word and Excel)
