About the Role

We're looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to build and maintain high-performance, responsive websites during night shift hours. This role involves developing custom themes, integrating front-end designs, managing plugins, and ensuring sites meet SEO and security best practices.

You'll work remotely with a collaborative team, handling client projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

What You'll Do:

WordPress Development

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Convert Figma/Photoshop designs into dynamic, responsive WordPress websites.
• Ensure websites are cross-browser compatible and mobile-friendly.
• Implement SEO tools, caching, and security best practices.

Quality Assurance & Performance

• Follow QA guidelines and coding standards to ensure site quality.
• Conduct site testing and execute revisions accurately.
• Track productivity and quality metrics, taking ownership of assigned projects.

Capacity & Communication

• Monitor and report workload and availability.
• Raise technical blockers or bandwidth concerns proactively.

Tools & Process Improvement

• Provide feedback on development tools and workflows.
• Collaborate to improve service offerings, workflow automation, and efficiency.

Team & Stakeholder Alignment

• Attend team meetings and alignment sessions.
• Share progress updates, challenges, and solutions to maintain project visibility.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a WordPress developer.
• Ad agency experience required.
• Experience working specifically with traditional advertising agencies.
• Minimum of 2+ years of ad agency experience required.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for WordPress.
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile-friendly development.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality, visually appealing websites.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for website optimization.
