Recognised globally as a Best Place to Work, we’re a people-first company where long-term wins always matter more. As part of our team, you will shape the future of fintech with real technology, care, and purpose.

Why this role matters

As a Senior Odoo Developer within the Enterprise Applications team, you will play a key role in evolving and maintaining a world-class ERP system built on the Odoo platform. Your work will directly support mission-critical business functions across the company by designing, customising, and integrating ERP solutions that are secure, scalable, and well-aligned with the needs of internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for full-cycle development: from technical design and implementation to data migration, deployment, and user support. Additionally, you will ensure seamless interoperability between Odoo and other internal systems such as HRM, FP&A, and DWH platforms, enabling efficient data flows and streamlined business processes.

The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do

  • The Odoo Developer is accountable for the continuous evolution, maintenance, and technical integrity of the company’s Odoo-based ERP platform. This includes driving code quality, performance improvements, database design, and ensuring long-term scalability of the system architecture.
  • Architectural review of solutions, development of plans for designing and evolving the system.
  • Responsible for configuring and adapting the ERP system to support critical business workflows across departments. This includes user access setup, workflows, scheduled jobs, and participation in environment management across development, staging, and production.
  • Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of custom Odoo modules and extensions, including externally-facing systems such as the vendor portal. Ensure these components are robust, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Accountable for integrating Odoo with other enterprise systems — such as HRM, FP&A tools, and data warehouses — to enable automated, reliable, and scalable data exchange. This includes developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and handling data synchronisation.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for ERP users by investigating and resolving issues related to system functionality, customisations, and integrations. Act as the first responder for functional troubleshooting and user enablement.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with the Odoo platform, including development of custom modules, system configuration, and integration.
  • Proven track record in ERP implementation and support, ideally within product or tech-driven companies operating at scale.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL, ORM frameworks, and designing scalable data models.
  • Exposure to cross-system integration projects, especially in domains such as finance, HR, or procurement, is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with Odoo’s ORM, business logic, and server-side architecture.
  • Deep understanding of the Odoo framework, including module inheritance, views, access rights, scheduled actions, and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, performance tuning, and complex queries.
  • Practical experience with odoo.sh, including managing branches, deploying environments, reviewing logs, and handling automated testing and staging flows.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful API development and integration, enabling seamless communication between Odoo and external platforms (e.g., HR, finance, DWH).
  • Proficiency in Git-based workflows and collaborative development tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
  • Familiarity with data migration, upgrade management, and scripting tools for import/export between legacy systems and Odoo.
  • Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests, ensuring stable, regression-free delivery of ERP features.

Nice to have:

  • Odoo-specific certifications, such as:
    • Odoo Functional Certification
    • Odoo Technical Certification
  • Additional relevant certifications:
    • PostgreSQL or database design certifications
    • Python programming certifications (e.g. PCEP, PCAP)
    • ERP implementation or business process modelling credentials
