Senior Cross-Platform Mobile App Developer (Xamarin Forms/.NET MAUI, C#)

MCS Group is excited to be partnering with an established tech company that builds a suite of products used widely across the UK and Ireland. They're continually investing in their platform and expanding their mobile offering, and they're now looking for a developer who enjoys working across both Android and iOS using Xamarin or MAUI.

This is a great fit for someone who likes variety, enjoys solving real business problems and wants to contribute to products that are genuinely relied upon day-to-day.

(Fully Remote from Ireland/UK)

The Job

• Building and improving cross-platform mobile apps using Xamarin Forms / .NET MAUI and C#.
• Working closely with designers and engineers to turn ideas into practical, high-quality features.
• Getting involved in everything from planning and architecture through to debugging and performance tuning.
• Collaborating within an Agile environment across mobile, desktop and web teams.
• Profiling, testing and fine-tuning the mobile apps to ensure a smooth user experience.

The Person

• Strong experience with Xamarin Forms. MAUI experience is a bonus, but not essential. Experience migrating Xamarin Forms to MAUI would be the gold standard!
• Solid background in C# / .NET development.
• Comfortable working with SQLite and mobile data storage.
• Familiar with REST APIs and integrating mobile apps with back-end services.
