What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years Avaloq experience (essential)
- 5+ years as a Software Engineer in financial services
- Avaloq Certified Customization Professional certification (essential)
- Strong knowledge of PL-SQL, Oracle SQL
- Expertise with Avaloq Front Platform (AFP), including credit modules, object modelling, and message interfaces
- Knowledge of Avaloq RMWP Parameterisation, plus exposure to HTML, CSS, Angular, TypeScript, Java, J2EE, JDBC, SOAP, JavaScript
- Familiarity with Web Application Firewalls (e.g., Ergon), Elasticsearch/Kibana, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and monitoring/alerting tools such as Prometheus/Grafana (bonus)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with advocacy for tooling such as Confluence and Jira
- Experience working in large, fast-paced teams
- An independent thinker who challenges ideas constructively
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field
