WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Background in Software/System Engineering with experience building and operating production-grade data and compute intensive systems.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, orchestration and networking.
- Proficiency in system design, handling scaling strategies, and balancing trade-offs like availability vs consistency and latency vs throughput.
- Define reusable patterns and build tools that accelerate development and improve operational excellence and efficiency.
- Well-rounded understanding of managing business-critical systems in cloud infrastructure, following best practices for observability and scalability.
- Interested in real-time data streams, low-latency systems, and working with different data storage, retrieval, and processing approaches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-starter with high autonomy, and a focus on knowledge sharing and team growth.
