About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Operating System Administrator / SAP BASIS Expertwith deep hands-on experience supporting SAP landscapes across ABAP, Java, and Non-NetWeaver environments (Cloud On-Prem). This role requires strong technical leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to operate in a global, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, administer, and optimize SAP systems across ABAP/Non-ABAP landscapes.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities across business-critical systems.
- Implement and manage High Availabilitysolutions (Pacemaker, MS Clusters, HANA HSR).
- Perform SAP system performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting.
- Manage SAP certificates for NetWeaver HANA environments.
- Support technical upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Automate administration tasks using SAP Landscape Management.
- Monitor systems using SAP Solution Manager / Focused Run.
- Collaborate with global IT teams (Japan, China, India, Germany, US, Mexico).
- Ensure adherence to SLAs / OLAsand propose improvement measures.
- Lead or contribute to internal technical projects.
- Manage and mentor small to mid-sized teams.
- Work within ITILand SAFe (Agile)frameworks.
- 10+ yearsSAP BASIS / OS Administration experience.
- Strong expertise across NetWeaver ABAP Javaand HANA ecosystems.
- Experience with Cloud, On-Prem, and hybrid SAP environments.
- High Availability DR expertise.
- Hands-on experience with SolMan/Focused Run monitoring.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and continuously learn emerging SAP technologies (HANA, Fiori, BTP, Cloud Connector, Mobility, etc.).
- Work with a global, high-performing SAP technology team.
- Exposure to latest SAP innovations and co-innovation initiatives.
