Location: Remote (candidates must be based in Poland)
Language: Polish (native/fluent) & English (C1+)
Contract: Freelance | Long-term project opportunity
We are looking for a Databricks Developer to join an international project, delivering scalable Data & AI solutions on the Databricks platform to support analytics, ETL, and machine learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL pipelines using Databricks (Lakehouse, Delta Lake)
- Build and optimize data workflows with PySpark, SQL, and Python
- Integrate data solutions with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and external systems
- Manage security and governance using Unity Catalog
- Support CI/CD deployment automation and cluster performance monitoring
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in Data Engineering / Big Data
- Hands-on expertise with Databricks (Workspace, Jobs API, Lakehouse)
- Strong skills in Python (PySpark) and SQL
- Experience converting business needs into technical solutions
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with global stakeholders
- Fluent Polish & English (C1+)
- Must be based in Poland
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/ML tools (MLflow, RAG pipelines)
- Background in legal, tax, or financial domains
