At ERNI, we’re looking for a Data Engineer to evolve customer data infrastructure, optimize data flows, and guarantee data availability and quality. You’ll partner closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure a consistent, scalable data delivery architecture across multiple projects. 🧬🚀

How do we ensure that? 🤔

From day one, you will have a mentor with you, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You’ll have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you’ll work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What will you do?

You’ll be part of an international team, building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and systems. Your role will involve:

• Designing, building, installing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable data management systems.
• Optimizing data architectures, flows, and datasets to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Working with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Integrating and re-engineering emerging data-management and software-engineering technologies.
• Ensuring solutions meet business requirements and industry best practices.
• Defining and documenting standardized processes for data mining, modeling, and production.
• Collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to align on project goals.
• Using scripting languages (Python, Scala) and SQL to stitch systems together.
• Recommending improvements to increase data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  
  

What are we looking for?

✅ Minimum 3 years of tangible experience as a Data Engineer.

✅ Strong knowledge of ETL pipelines and data engineering best practices.

✅ Hands-on expertise with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

✅ Solid knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (Snowflake/Databricks preferred).

✅ Proven ability to design and optimize big-data pipelines and architectures.

✅ Strong analytical skills, including work with unstructured datasets.

✅ Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools.

✅ Proficiency in Python or Scala.

✅ Excellent communication and organizational skills.

✅ Fluent English (spoken & written).
