You'll be joining a well-established IT entity that focuses on cutting-edge technologies within iGaming. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, talented engineering team—each member contributing to independent, high-impact backend projects. Reporting directly to the CTO with a strong technical background, you’ll be supported and empowered to deliver solutions that matter within a competitive and innovative domain.

The tech stack is centred around Go (Golang), with opportunities to work with tools and technologies such as Docker, GitLab, SQL databases, microservices, and cloud-ready architectures. While experience with all these tools is an advantage, what matters most is your eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute after joining the team. It’s an excellent environment to deepen your backend expertise while expanding across modern engineering patterns.

This is a hybrid position, requiring just 2 days in the office per week in Malta, giving you flexibility and room for focused, high-quality work depending on your preferences.

You will:

• Design and build modern backend microservices using Go
• Contribute to high-performance backend components within an agile team
• Help shape core iGaming products and backend systems

Skills / Experience:

• 4-5+ years’ experience in backend development using Go (or similar backend languages)
• Great understanding and experience working with microservices and distributed backend architectures
• Familiarity with SQL databases and Docker is ideal

Salary / Remuneration: €50,000 – €70,000 DOE + Bonus, Health Insurance, Allowances
