Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing
- Develops multi-channel sourcing strategies to attract differentiated talent in emerging roles or highly competitive talent pools.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with new talent pools and communities to support long-term business needs.
- Creates and presents market intelligence reports to inform sourcing strategies and hiring plans.
- Leverages advanced tools, platforms, and assessment frameworks to identify and qualify candidates.
- Synthesizes and interprets external market data to provide insights on talent availability, competitor trends, and diversity gaps.
- Advises business leaders on sourcing strategies using data-driven insights and channel analytics.
- Crafts compelling narratives about Microsoft’s unique career opportunities, advantages, and rewards.
- Engages passive and active candidates through storytelling, networking, and community outreach.
- Shares sourcing best practices and innovative techniques with peers to elevate team capability.
- Executes initial screening to validate candidate qualifications, relocation considerations, immigration status, and compensation alignment.
- Applies standardized assessment frameworks to ensure consistency and quality in candidate evaluation.
- Consults hiring managers on talent needs and pushes for acceptance of nontraditional and diverse talent pools.
- Uses data to influence hiring decisions and align sourcing strategies with business priorities.
- Partners with stakeholders to anticipate future talent needs and proactively build pipelines.
- Assesses talent gaps within assigned business groups and provides actionable insights to inform hiring plans.
- Aligns sourcing strategies with short-term and near-term business objectives (2–6 months) while supporting long-term goals.
- Ensures a positive candidate experience during sourcing and screening phases.
- Identifies potential friction points early and partners with hiring teams to mitigate risks.
- Maintains accurate candidate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., OFCCP, GDPR).
- Educates stakeholders on sourcing policies, systems, and processes; identifies opportunities for optimization.
- Analyzes sourcing metrics and hiring trends to refine strategies and improve pipeline health.
- Converts data into actionable recommendations for business planning and talent acquisition initiatives.
- Data Analysis & Systems Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data and apply insights to sourcing strategies.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry trends, talent markets, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of talent acquisition experience (e.g., sourcing, recruiting)
- OR equivalent experience.
- OR Master’s Degree AND 6+ years experience.
- LinkedIn Recruiter Certification or equivalent sourcing certifications.
- Experience sourcing for Latin America region or global markets.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, market research, and pipeline development.
