Job Description


LHH is recruiting for a full-time, Senior Product Manager for one of our long-standing clients in the manufacturing industry in the Greater Chicago area. Location: Greater Chicago Area - Hybrid – M-TH in office. Relocation is available. Travel 25-50% depending on product business needs.


Compensation: $120K-$175K (based on experience) + bonus opportunity + benefits

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, short term disability, long term disability, and AD&D insurance, 401k plan, health savings account, educational reimbursement, matching gift program, annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance, up to three (3) weeks of Personal Time Off is offered a year and 12 Paid Holidays, and employee stock purchase plan. Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, or Engineering or similar. MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of product management experience required with a focus on commercial industries such as industrial manufacturing, water, filtration, water treatment, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, electronics, building construction, building materials, etc.
  • Solid understanding of distribution of commercial products and working with distribution partners.
  • Solid understanding of GTM strategy and experience working with third party representatives across the United States.
  • Strong project management skills required.
  • Ability to collaborate across all levels and functions within the organization a must
  • Experience developing and presenting comprehensive business plans and proposals internally and to customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to confidently and persuasively present to senior leadership teams and senior level customers
  • Experience analyzing data using spreadsheet applications and leveraging data to drive fact-based decision making and process improvement
