Our client is one of the leading financial institutions in Cyprus.


Position overview

We’re looking for highly motivated engineers to join our new development team with a passion for building & deploying robust, scalable & extendible software. The team will be working in an agile fashion on a greenfield project poised to bolster our online offering while maintaining a strong focus on automated testing and continuous delivery.


The Software Web Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of a new web banking offering and will integrate with back-end services to create a fully functional, performant and robust platform. This is an onsite role, and we're seeking someone who will work directly from the client's office in Nicosia.


Relocation conditions:

A 2,000-euro relocation bonus (3,000 euros if relocating with family).


Responsibilities
  • Build and extend the new web platform with new functionalities using a platform built on Angular
  • Collaborate in an agile team to build clean, maintainable and scalable code
  • Actively participate in daily scrum standups and other ceremonies
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Angular
  • Strong knowledge of Javascript (ES6+), CSS and HTML5 with a solid understanding of the frameworks’ components and their lifecycles
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience in Web SDLC: Automated Testing, Build Steps etc.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of design/architecture
  • Proficient knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or XP
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Attentive to detail, methodical, diligent
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or in a related field
