About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal UI/UX Designer to lead the design and development of our next-generation SaaS applications. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to shape high-impact software products, particularly in the areas of digital twin technology, simulation, and operational dashboards. The successful candidate will take ownership of the entire design process—from user research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final visual implementation. You will play a key role in maintaining and expanding our enterprise design system, ensuring consistency and excellence across our product suite. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, you will help align user experience strategies with business goals. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, promote user-centered design principles, and advocate for AI-enhanced, data-driven design workflows. This position offers the chance to work with some of the brightest minds in AI and contribute to solutions that impact critical industries such as national security, healthcare, and logistics.
Qualifications
- 14+ years of relevant UI/UX design experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in design roles, including managing or mentoring teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design projects, especially enterprise SaaS applications.
- Experience designing digital twin applications, simulations, or operational dashboards.
- Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure, or Sketch.
- Experience working within an agile development environment.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) to inform design decisions.
- Excellent visual design skills with a focus on usability and aesthetic consistency.
- Experience working on enterprise IaaS/SaaS software products.
- Strong understanding of data visualization, analytics, machine learning, or related fields.
- Optional: Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience utilizing AI tools, such as OpenAI or similar generative design technologies, is a plus.
