With a team of over 70 skilled professionals, we specialize in hydraulics, rigging, fabrication, painting, and composite work. Our focus is on delivering projects on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations. As we expand, we're seeking experienced Marine Project Managers to join our team in Sint Maarten.
About the role
As a Project Manager (Marine), at International Marine Management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, effective, and timely delivery of projects. You will oversee a team of professional technical staff, contractors, and work closely with customers to exceed their expectations while maximizing the benefits to our organization. Accountable to the Director of Operations, your role will involve managing a variety of marine-based projects, both afloat and ashore, including refits, repairs, and development projects. If you are a proactive, self-starting individual with a passion for the marine industry and a talent for project management, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities

• Communicate project updates to stakeholders.

• Uphold quality control standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety requirements.
6. Resource Optimization and Risk Management:
• Optimize resource allocation.
• Develop risk management strategies.
7. Innovation and Team Development:
• Explore innovative technologies and practices.
• Foster professional growth within the project team.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum of (3) three years of previous experience within the Marine industry, preferably in a shipyard environment.
- Strong project management training and/or extensive experience in project management.
- Experience in managing marine builds, refits, repairs, or shipyard development projects.
- Proactive, self-starter capable of working autonomously.
- Ability to foster a team spirit dedicated to delivering excellence.
