Job Description
Category: Technology
Location:
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to design the right payment solutions, lead integrations, and ensure long-term technical success for merchants. You will support pre-sales discovery, guide end-to-end integrations, and own the technical relationship with a portfolio of customers post–go-live. This role blends solution design, hands-on implementation support, and ongoing technical account management.
What You'll Do
- Pre-sales solutioning: Run discovery, map requirements to platform capabilities, design integration architectures, and deliver demos/POCs.
- Integration leadership: Provide guidance on APIs, SDKs, and webhooks; review payloads/flows; support testing and production launch.
- Post–go-live ownership: Serve as the primary technical contact; review performance, monitor payment health, and recommend optimizations.
- Troubleshooting: Triage issues, analyze logs/traces, resolve auth/3DS/idempotency/webhook problems, and coordinate fixes with Engineering.
- Enablement: Create and maintain docs, Postman collections, sample apps, and internal playbooks.
- Product feedback: Capture field insights and advocate for enhancements to reduce integration friction.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, HTTP, and auth schemes (API Keys, OAuth/HMAC).
- Ability to design solution architectures and present to both technical and business audiences.
- Working knowledge of payment flows: checkout, auth/capture/refund, 3DS/SCA, tokenization, retries, idempotency, reconciliation, and go-live best practices.
- Proficiency in Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Go, plus familiarity with Git and observability tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3–7 years in solutions engineering, integration engineering, TAM, or developer support—preferably in fintech/payments.
- Work on international projects: Be part of a global team working with clients from across the world.
- Remote-first culture: Enjoy the flexibility of a remote workplace, allowing you to work from anywhere.
- Regular team outings: Even with remote work, we believe in building strong team bonds through regular social and team-building events.
- Collaborative & growth-oriented: Learn from senior engineers, work in a collaborative environment, and grow professionally with opportunities for career development.
