Computer Systems Engineer

Salary: 126,100 USD – 227,950 USD

Location: Fully Remote, US (Occasional travel to Orlando)

Leidos is hiring a Computer Systems Engineer to support the Department of the Air Force’s ABMS Digital Infrastructure program. You’ll work across systems engineering, digital modeling, integration and verification to help build the backbone of next-generation command and control capabilities.

What you’ll do

• Support digital engineering across the full Systems Engineering lifecycle

• Model system architectures using MBSE and SysML in Cameo

• Maintain and document the ABMS DI network baseline

• Work with multiple contractors and government teams in IPTs and technical working groups

• Support requirements management in tools like DOORS and Cameo

• Contribute to risk, opportunity, process improvement and integration efforts

• Support system test, verification, validation and deployment

• Onboard and support developers building new DI network capabilities

What you’ll need

• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligibility required)

• Bachelor’s + 12 years’ experience, or Master’s + 10 years

• Experience with DOORS, Cameo or similar modeling tools

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across diverse technical teams

• Knowledge of cloud, edge computing, networks, cybersecurity, C4ISR or systems integration

• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence)

• Expertise with ICAM, data distribution and architectures

Nice to have

• Networking and cloud architecture expertise

• Active TS/SCI clearance

• Edge systems or multi-site network experience

• Experience with DevSecOps or “as-code” infrastructure

• DoD program experience

Salary

126,100 USD – 227,950 USD depending on experience and seniority.
