Job Description
Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in retail loss prevention, fraud detection, or corporate security — particularly at the level expected for licensed investigators or asset protection specialists responsible for theft prevention, risk management, and incident resolution.
Role Overview:
- In this role, you will be working on projects to help evaluate and improve AI using your investigative and analytical expertise.
- No prior AI experience is required.
- These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to strengthen fraud detection, enhance risk assessment, and optimize retail and corporate security operations.
What Does Day-to-Day Look Like:
- Design and solve real-world retail investigation and loss prevention scenarios to test AI reasoning.
- Write clear, structured explanations covering surveillance methods, fraud analysis, evidence handling, and incident reporting.
- Evaluate AI responses for legal accuracy, compliance with consumer protection laws, and operational relevance.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to refine model understanding of security procedures, investigative best practices, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Private Investigator, Loss Prevention Specialist, or Security Manager in retail or corporate settings.
- Valid investigator or security license (where required).
- Strong understanding of fraud detection, retail theft prevention, and evidence documentation.
- Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
