OVERVIEW:
Our client develops advanced autonomous aerial platforms and next-generation unmanned flight technologies used in high-performance, mission-critical environments. Their engineering teams push boundaries, delivering precision-engineered systems in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment.
These positions support the design, development, and integration of complex electrical architectures for autonomous flight platforms. Multiple openings are available across levels III–VI, with opportunities ranging from hands-on circuit design and integration to senior-level technical leadership and cross-functional project ownership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead or contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for unmanned aircraft platforms.
- Develop and troubleshoot analog/digital circuits, microcontroller systems, and power electronics.
- Oversee and optimize wire harness design and production, including documentation in Altium.
- Drive or support system integration with mechanical, software, and flight-test teams.
- Diagnose complex hardware issues and support closure of non-conformance items.
- Participate in or lead flight-test electrical readiness, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Mentor junior engineers (for senior-level roles).
- Maintain thorough technical documentation and ensure designs meet industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Electrical Engineer III–IV
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- Strong foundation in analog/digital circuit design, power systems, and hands-on hardware development.
- Proficiency with Altium or comparable ECAD tools.
- Experience supporting system integration and hardware troubleshooting.
Electrical Engineer V–VI
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including work in aerospace, UAS, or other high-reliability or safety-critical environments.
- Deep expertise in analog/digital circuit design, embedded hardware systems, and system-level electrical integration.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical decision-making, mentoring, or project execution.
All Levels
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong experience with analog/digital circuitry, power systems, and CAN communication.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Due to program requirements and associated security regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in avionics, unmanned systems, or automotive/safety-critical hardware.
- Background in board-level and component-level design.
- Experience with advanced electrical testing, validation, and verification processes.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $120,000 – $215,000, depending on level and experience (EE III–VI).
