Job Description


As a Tester, you’ll be at the forefront of testing next-generation public facing, social media applications for multinational technology company. Your primary focus will be on validating Family of Applications on different platforms (mobile and desktop) for functional, system, integration and nonfunctional testing requirements. This is a hands-on testing role where precision, curiosity, and a passion for quality are key.


Location and Work Mode:

· Work week from Sunday to Thursday

· Hybrid module of work from Gdansk


Role & Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute detailed test plans for web based and device-based applications/features (social media applications and their software features).

· Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop based).

· Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes.

· Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.


Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

· 3-10 years of experience in software/hardware testing or QA roles.

· Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.

· Experience in test management, defect management activities and related tools

· Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, pytest) is a plus.

· Good understanding of application management processes – Software development, DevOps, deployments, quality assurance

· Familiarity with social media applications, platforms and media is highly desirable.

· Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

· Experience working with cross functional teams and stakeholders (biz, dev, infra, security etc)


Good to have Skills:

· Experience with social media application testing

· Knowledge of social media application features, system integrations

· Comfort working in fast-paced, experimental environments
