Senior Backend Software Engineer

• Innovate: 90% of your work will be dedicated to developing new features and products.
• Lead: Take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle from conception to deployment.
• Collaborate: Work with cutting-edge technologies including: Scala, Java, Python, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, a variety of other AWS Services

 

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in back-end programming with languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Eagerness to Learn: Openness and willingness to become a Scala expert.
• Best Practices: Solid coding practices including unit testing.
• Tech Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in technology and architecture, with a knack for discussing and exploring different solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have: 

• Python experience is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of HL IT Products and container shipping business is an advantage.
