We are seeking a Senior SQL Database Contractor for a temporary position with a leading technology-driven organization. This role is based remotely with collaboration across distributed teams. You will play a key role in ensuring SQL Server database performance, optimization, and scalability, while working closely with developers, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teams (Azure).

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of database administration and management experience

- Deep expertise in performance monitoring, query tuning, indexing, and optimization
- Knowledge of backup/restore strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with automation of database operations
- Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Prior experience in fast-paced or regulated environments
