📌 About the Role

Jus Mundi is looking for a Senior Product Designer with a strong passion for UI and UX to help shape the future of our products. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in creating intuitive, delightful, and consistent user experiences across our platform. This is your chance to work at the intersection of law and technology, contributing to innovative solutions that simplify global legal research and empower legal professionals worldwide.

You will be part of our Product Design team, working closely with another Product Designer, Product Managers, Legal Experts, and Software Engineers. The team is highly collaborative, user focused, and committed to excellence in problem solving and design craft. Together, we work to deliver simple, impactful solutions in a complex legal-tech environment.

🌟Your mission at Jus Mundi

In This Role, You Will

• Design state of the art, intuitive, and delightful user experiences that blend the simplicity of AI with the complex workflows and needs of legal research and drafting.
• Create user centric interfaces tailored to legal professionals’ real world tasks, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and ease of use.
• Translate product concepts into consistent, user friendly UI using our design system components, while also contributing new elements that strengthen our brand and design principles.
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our atomic design system and support its upcoming integration into Storybook.
• Use analytics and qualitative insights to inform design decisions, validate hypotheses, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Clearly articulate trade offs, evaluate different solutions, and make recommendations aligned with initiative objectives.
• Apply UX best practices across user research, user flows, and interaction design. Prior user research experience is a plus, but curiosity and willingness to learn are essential.
• Incorporate accessibility standards to ensure an inclusive experience for users with diverse abilities.
• Participate in usability testing sessions and iterate quickly based on user feedback and observed behaviours.
• Balance thorough discovery for complex problems with rapid iteration for smaller or incremental improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and fellow Designers to understand requirements, co create solutions, and deliver high quality outcomes efficiently.
  
  

You will be empowered to help refine our design system, improve our design workflow, and contribute to a seamless user experience across all Jus Mundi products.

⚙️ Preferred Experience And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–8 years of experience with a portfolio demonstrating end to end design work, strong UI craftsmanship, design system contributions, and solid Figma proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of UX principles and the ability to apply them effectively across complex workflows.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
• High attention to detail and a passion for crafting intuitive, delightful, and user friendly interfaces.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Self motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Prior AI experience is a strong plus, along with familiarity or willingness to adopt the latest AI powered tools used by designers.
• Legal knowledge is a plus but not required.
