Payroll and Compensation & Benefits Specialist / HR Generalist
Job Description:
We are seeking a Payroll and Compensation & Benefits Specialist / HR Generalist with a strong background in international payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, and generalist HR tasks and projects administration to join our team. This role is a temporary, full-time position for 7 months to cover maternity leave.
The ideal candidate for this role is a meticulous and internationally-minded HR professional with experience in international payroll processing. They must possess strong analytical skills with a good knowledge of MS Excel to enable seamless collaboration with local and global partners. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Dutch or German is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and processing payroll for Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland
- Close cooperation with HQ teams for payroll for assignees and payroll reporting
- Partner to Finance team for payroll reconciliation
- Processes related to employee benefits in all countries
- Responsible for documentation during Internal and External audits
- Responsible for relocation of new hires from abroad; partner to HQ Mobility team and to external consultants (tax and immigration)
- Supports creating HR infrastructure in Germany
- Provides ad-hoc general support in HR Department, including support in global HR projects
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor educational level
- Experience with (international) payroll processing is necessary
- Analytical skills, structural and detailed orientation
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluency in English speaking and writing as a must, Dutch/German is a plus
- Good communication and social skills
- A flexible, friendly and service-oriented attitude
- Open to support HR generalist tasks and projects
