Job Description


EVA Systems and Modelling Engineer - C++/ GPU / Python


We are working with a leading Semicon company in Cork in Ireland, and their Computer Vision Systems group is seeking a Systems and Modelling Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Please note, this will be a predominantly onsite role with little to no flex on hybrid work.


About them:

The teams develops Vision IP used across mobile, automotive, and XR platforms. Their work spans algorithms, accelerator architecture, and hardware modelling with a strong focus on power and performance.

You will join a collaborative group working across software, hardware, and systems.

You will model computer vision algorithms in C or C++, support pre-silicon validation, and drive performance enhancements across CPU, DSP, or GPU. You will also contribute to Python based test automation and large scale codebase integration.


What you will do:

  • Model CV algorithms and hardware architectures
  • Optimize C or C++ models for runtime and memory
  • Support DSP or GPU focused algorithm optimization
  • Create Python scripts for unit and system testing
  • Contribute to test automation and version control
  • Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and systems teams across the product lifecycle


What they look for:

  • Strong C or C++ coding and debugging experience
  • Working knowledge of embedded systems
  • Experience with CV or ML techniques is a strong advantage
  • Background in accelerators, SoC modelling, or multi threaded programming is valued
  • Familiarity with Linux or Windows environments and associated tooling
