Job Title: Sr. Developer AI & ML
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Atlanta, GA (Relocation OK)
Description: Our client is seeking a Sr. AI/ML Developer to expand the use of Artificial Intelligence across customer-facing and employee-facing digital experiences. This role requires strong AI/ML expertise paired with hands-on software development experience.
Responsibilities:
- Grow the client s AI capabilities across multiple business units.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership around AI solution design, architecture, and development.
- Influence and adopt industrialized AI/ML design patterns and frameworks.
- Define, design, and capture data needed to measure solution performance.
- Collaborate with product owners and engineers to build AI-driven solutions at scale.
- Contribute to technology strategy, framework selection, and architectural decisions.
- Document solutions using diagrams, code comments, and clear technical writing.
- Design, develop, monitor, and scale AI components, APIs, and applications.
- Implement security standards, TDD, CI/CD, automation, and deployment best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers; lead code reviews and reliability improvements.
- Conduct performance, load, and automated testing.
- Work within Agile squads operating in two-week sprints.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Promote an AI-first mindset and help democratize AI internally.
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- 3+ years of AI/ML experience (professional or academic).
- Strong experience with Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
- AWS development experience; AWS SageMaker required.
- Programming experience with Python, R, Scala, or Spark.
- Experience with NLP, sentiment analysis, classification, or pattern recognition.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CNTK, Caffe, scikit-learn, Gluon, etc.
- Familiarity with GenAI technologies, LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and AI guardrails.
- Experience working with VectorDBs and data infrastructure supporting GenAI pipelines.
- Experience training, maintaining, and deploying large language models.
- Experience presenting to both technical and business audiences.
- Open to candidates near ATL or MSP offices.
