Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operations management of over 500++ customer installations of ATOSS products (SaaS) in our managed hosting environments (ATOSS Cloud Solution)
• Manage updates and release changes for 500++ cloud installations
• Deployment of new installations and services
• Configure technical interfaces to our cloud services with our customers and implementation partners
• Cooperation with our R&D department for new features and changes implementation
• Architecture and infrastructures design responsibilities
• 2nd and 3rd level support for our on premise and cloud implementations
• Application level debugging, investigating incidents, provide RCA’s, doing deep dives on all issues reported in order to come up with improvements to our systems

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Good knowledge of cloud-native technologies - Azure Services, Functions, etc
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies as well as development tools - Git, build tools, etc
• CI/CD knowledge - Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps
• Virtualization technologies - various hypervisors management, implementation of virtualized infrastructures
• Containerization technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
• Good scripting knowledge - Shell, Python
• Good networking knowledge - protocols, cloud networking
• Excellent Linux know-how and experience
• Being a team player is a must, but you should also be comfortable with working independently
• Strong attitude to optimize and atomize processes
• Fluent English, German language is a plus

• Infrastructure as Code - Ansible, Terraform knowledge
• Private cloud related experience - Openshift
• Certifications on Azure (. Azure Developer, DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect)
• Jenkins knowledge
