Assistant Project Leader – Electrical Designers (C&I Integration)
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Remote or Hybrid)
Description
BAE Systems is hiring an Assistant Project Leader to support Electrical Designers within the Integrated Combat Systems function. The role focuses on project delivery, coordinating design activity and ensuring milestones are met.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support project leaders with development reviews and progress tracking
- Contribute to design outputs, modelling and technical documentation
- Participate in team meetings, DSUMs and problem-solving sessions
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication
- Take accountability for designer activities, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
Skills and Experience
- Strong electrical background preferred
- Electrical or Mechanical HNC
- Experience mentoring or supporting a team
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions
