Job Description
Techmunity are partnering with a fast-growing London AI startup hiring for a Frontend Engineer.
They’re building an LLM-powered learning platform for enterprises - a personalised, intelligent training layer that sits on tools like Google Docs, Notion and Figma, helping teams become AI-native.
They’ve generated £1M+ revenue in the last six months, work with customers including Darktrace, Boeing and the Ministry of Justice, and are backed by Tom Hulme (GV), Steve Garnett (ex-Salesforce EMEA) and Seedcamp.
You’ll work directly with an exceptional founding team:
• CEO: former Head of Data Science in No.10, ex-CTO of a specialist military regiment, awarded an MBE
• CTO: scaled military-grade systems across three continents, leading teams across cyber, DevOps, IoT and data tooling
The role
You’ll join as the sixth technical hire in a role that’s 70–80% frontend, working with Vue 3 (Composition API) and TypeScript (Experience with React or Svelte will also transfer well)
You’ll take ownership of real product surfaces - dashboards, authoring tools, AI-driven workflows - and lead a new learner-facing journey from concept to launch.
You’ll work closely with backend engineers on full feature slices, with opportunities to grow your Python/FastAPI skills as you go.
The backend stack is Python, FastAPI and Azure, and you’ll be involved in shaping how frontend and backend integrate as the product scales.
They’re looking for someone with 3–5 years’ experience, strong modern JS/TS, and a track record of owning production features.
A product mindset and steady execution in fast-moving environments matter more than specific framework history.
