Technical Support Engineer

Salary: £40,000–£50,000

Location: Fully remote, UK


Description

Isero Ltd is a fast-growing provider of 5G Mobile Core network solutions, supporting deployments across North America and Europe. The business has secured recent funding and is expanding its technical support capability. This role provides tier-3 support for key system integrator partners and customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line tier-3 technical support for deployment and live operations
  • Guide customers through basic procedures and technical resolutions
  • Support installation, removal and upgrade of core software components
  • Recommend and implement procedural improvements
  • Document, test, deploy and support customer-facing processes
  • Build and execute test scenarios to replicate customer network issues


Required Experience

  • 2+ years in a commercial technical support environment resolving tier-3 issues
  • Experience working with 4G/5G Mobile Core technologies
  • Understanding of 3GPP protocols and ability to analyse call flows
  • Ability to read call traces (NGAP, S1AP, SIP, GTP, SCTP, Diameter, TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4/IPv6, ARP)
  • Linux systems experience (administration and troubleshooting)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and network troubleshooting
  • Software testing experience is desirable
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles is beneficial
