Job Description

Accountabilities

  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team based in India
  • Oversee the delivery of scalable backend, data, and integration systems that support global growth
  • Lead modernization, observability, and performance optimization initiatives to improve system reliability
  • Partner with global engineering and product peers to align on roadmaps, strategy, and execution
  • Champion AI-assisted development practices to accelerate innovation and improve engineering efficiency
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and strong engineering craftsmanship


Requirements

  • 7-10 years of total experience, including 2+ years managing engineering teams
  • Strong expertise in backend or data engineering, ideally with Python, AWS, and SQL
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster team growth and mentorship
  • Demonstrated experience in building scalable systems and modernizing technical environments
  • A growth mindset, proactive approach, and strong leadership presence
  • Fully remote work setup meeting the following minimum requirements:
  • Intel i3 (4th gen or higher) or equivalent processor
  • At least 4 GB RAM
  • Windows 10+ or macOS
  • Dual monitors (provided by candidate)
  • Stable wired internet connection (DSL, cable, or fiber with 10 Mbps+ plan)
  • PC headset and HD webcam (720p minimum)
