Job Title: M365 Implementation Engineer

Salary Range: £42k - £45k

Fully Remote: Must be physically based in the UK


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive M365 Implementation Engineer to support the successful delivery of Microsoft 365 projects within a professional services environment.

This role involves designing, configuring, and deploying a range of M365 services while ensuring smooth adoption and long-term value for clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to assess business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and deploy Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Teams Telephony, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Configure and enforce security and compliance policies across the M365 ecosystem.
  • Produce clear, high-quality documentation for systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Stay current with developments in Microsoft 365 and related ITSM practices, recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Partner closely with internal teams across sales, product, and support to ensure efficient delivery and exceptional client experience.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a Microsoft 365 engineering or implementation role.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and management tools.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Conditional Access, and security configurations.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management principles, including Azure AD.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work independently when required.


Desirable Qualifica1ons

  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 or similar.
  • Experience working with hybrid Exchange environments.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and other M365 security technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud migration projects.
