This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer .Net / Azure in the European Union.

This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain advanced cloud-based applications in a fully remote, highly technical, Agile environment. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures using modern .NET frameworks and Microsoft Azure services. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement robust cloud-native solutions, optimize CI/CD workflows, and integrate DevOps practices into development processes. The position demands a strong combination of hands-on engineering expertise, architectural vision, and strategic problem-solving to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role directly impacts product scalability, reliability, and performance while supporting innovation and continuous improvement across global engineering teams.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications using modern .NET frameworks (e.g., .NET 6/7)
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications, process models, and data models
  • Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures aligned with best practices
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale applications using Microsoft Azure services, integrating cloud-native components for reliability and resilience
  • Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure DevOps
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, support sprint planning, track progress, and communicate risks and deliverables
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement and modernization efforts


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 7-8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in .NET 6/7 or later for enterprise-level application development
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including deployment, monitoring, scaling, and cloud-native design
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical specifications, process models, and data models
  • Solid understanding of secure application development, performance optimization, and architectural best practices
  • Familiarity with Scrum, PM² project governance, and project tracking tools like Jira or Confluence
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously
