Data Analyst | SQL | LookML | GCP | Remote UK | £40k - £50k


Maze is supporting a rapidly scaling consumer-tech platform to hire a Data Analyst who will take ownership of data quality, analytics, insight generation, and cross-company data enablement. This business operates across major European cities, partners with leading global brands, and has delivered over 1M+ services to customers.

You’ll play a central role in shaping data foundations, supporting operational and commercial teams, and building robust reporting that empowers the entire organisation.


Key Responsibilities:

Data & Infrastructure

• Maintain and optimise data pipelines and LookML models

• Ensure data integrity, documentation, and third-party integrations

Analytics & Insights

• Build dashboards and reporting for Operations, Marketing, and Leadership

• Lead segmentation, churn analysis, and revenue insights

• Provide deep performance analysis to improve efficiency and customer retention

Collaboration

• Act as the internal data partner, enabling self-serve reporting

• Support and mentor stakeholders to elevate data literacy


Key Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in data analysis

• Strong SQL, LookML, BigQuery/GCP skills; experience with Looker or similar BI tools

• Solid understanding of data modelling, pipelines, and architecture

• Experience with dbt is a plus

• Confident communicator able to challenge requirements and drive clarity

• Comfortable working independently in a remote-friendly environment

• Strong understanding of data governance and security
