Key Responsibilities
- Lead administration and advanced configuration of Windows Server (2008 2025)
- Drive architecture, optimization, and maintenance of VMware vSphere (8.x preferred)
- Lead Azure administration, cloud optimization, and migration activities
- Act as a technical expert for server migrations and cloud adoption
- Maintain system security protocols, DR planning, and performance tuning
- Resolve high-severity and complex issues independently
- Partner directly with application teams to design and implement solutions
- Lead modernization, upgrade, and migration projects
- Occasionally travel to plant locations to support complex onsite needs
- 10+ years of hands-on System Administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server and VMware vSphere
- Strong and advanced Azure administration experience
- Expertise in River Meadow or similar server migration tools
- Deep understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Strong documentation, governance, and process definition experience
- Ability to lead cross-team initiatives and strategic infrastructure upgrades
- Certifications such as MCSE, VCP, Azure Admin Associate
- Experience supporting manufacturing or plant-based IT environments
