Technical Recruiter

Palo Alto, CA (Remote OK)


About the Role


Skan AI is looking for a highly skilled Technical Recruiter to support our fast-growing team. We need someone who can identify, attract, and close top-tier technical talent across engineering, product, data, and AI domains. This role requires strong sourcing abilities, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tech hiring pipelines simultaneously. Non-local candidates are welcome; the role can be fully remote.


Key Responsibilities


  • Drive full-cycle recruitment for technical roles across Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and related functions.
  • Source, screen, and assess high-quality technical talent using LinkedIn, GitHub, networking, and advanced sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines with a focus on diversity hiring.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and deliver top profiles quickly.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Maintain detailed recruitment metrics, reports, and pipeline updates.
  • Represent Skan AI’s culture, mission, and technology to attract top talent.


Required Qualifications


  • 3–7 years of technical recruiting experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Proven success hiring software engineers, data engineers, ML/AI engineers, and product/technical roles.
  • Strong sourcing expertise with Boolean search, ATS tools, and passive candidate outreach.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple roles and deliver high-quality profiles consistently.
  • Experience supporting diversity recruitment initiatives.


Nice to Have


  • Experience recruiting for AI/automation/SaaS startups.
  • Prior work with distributed or remote-first teams.
