The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Remote Production Designer - Design Systems & UI Development Support for a prominent client of ours. Details for the position are as follows:


Pay: $70-66

Fully REMOTE

We are seeking a technically minded Production Designer who excels at bridging design and development. This is the right fit for someone who has built design systems (not just used them), works fluently inside Figma, and is deeply experienced in supporting developers through the full build cycle of mobile apps.


💼 Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Partner with developers to finalize UI details, resolve implementation issues, and support build QA
  • Collaborate with product designers on new features during the final handoff and development cycle
  • Complete design QA and validate builds pre-release
  • Prepare clean, production-ready Figma files, specs, and documentation
  • Maintain and update component libraries and system documentation
  • Uphold consistency across UX patterns and visual elements
  • Contribute to ongoing evolution of the design system and internal guidelines
  • Help educate product teams on correct system usage


Must Haves

  • Figma expert - component creation, file structure, libraries, collaboration
  • Production experience: working directly with engineers, resolving UI bugs, validating builds, and driving design QA
  • Design system ownership: managing, maintaining, and evolving component libraries
  • Proven ability to deliver digital products from design → development → release
  • 4-5+ years in production design, ideally within design systems-focused roles
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong online portfolio demonstrating:
  • Design system components they built
  • Production workflows
  • How they delivered designs through development
  • Implementation challenges + solutions
