This is a fully remote role open to U.S.-based candidates.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

  • Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Golang
  • Build responsive, high-performance single-page applications with React, TypeScript, and modern state management
  • Own Kafka event streaming pipelines (producers, consumers, schema design, partitioning)
  • Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, complex queries, and migrations
  • Write and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows
  • Deploy and manage containerized microservices on Kubernetes (Docker + Helm experience required)
  • Collaborate with architects, leads, and product teams in an Agile environment
  • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and production troubleshooting

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Golang development (concurrency, performance tuning, building production APIs)
  • 2+ years building complex SPAs with React + TypeScript (Redux/Context API, JSX, API integration)
  • Real-world experience with Apache Kafka (topics, partitions, producers/consumers, schema design)
  • Strong PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS) – complex SQL, schema design, indexing, migrations
  • Hands-on GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
  • Production experience deploying to Kubernetes (Docker, Helm, secrets management)
  • Solid grasp of clean code, testing, and debugging practices

Nice-to-Haves:

  • GraphQL experience
  • Healthcare domain knowledge
  • Exposure to Vault, KMS, or similar secrets management tools

Interview Process (2 rounds):

  1. Technical screen with engineering leads (45–60 mins)
