Job Description
English B2+ is required. Position 100% remote in Colombia.
Responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining client websites from staging to production, ensuring smooth functionality, high performance, and excellent user experience across all devices. This role involves a balance of front-end design implementation, 75% back-end development, and ongoing technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage, and maintain hosting environments on various cloud or managed hosting platforms.
- Create and deploy staging and production environments for client projects.
- Configure domains, caching, CDN, and DNS records, to ensure optimal site performance and uptime.
- Build, customize, and launch new websites, implementing both front-end and back-end functionality.
- Implement logic for validation, approval workflows, search filters, and dynamic content display.
- Integrate third-party APIs for payments, forms, email delivery, analytics, and mapping services.
- Translate design systems and wireframes into responsive, accessible front-end layouts.
- Implement CSS and JavaScript for typography, menus, buttons, hover states, and animations.
- Optimize designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop experiences.
Skills:
- 2+ years of experience with WordPress website management.
- Strong understanding of hosting environments, DNS, caching, and CDN systems.
- Experience with Cloudflare and Amazon S3.
- Familiarity with email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Basic understanding of SEO tools and analytics setup.
- Comfortable using task management and customer support systems (e.g., Basecamp, FreshDesk, etc.).
