Based in Romania | Fully Remote | Collaboration Type: CIM (Permanent Employment Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering data from various sources.
• Work with senior engineers to develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using modern data platforms and tools.
• Implement data quality checks, logging, and monitoring for pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Assist in designing and maintaining data models, tables, and schemas.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document workflows, data dictionaries, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong passion for data, analytics, and engineering.
• Basic programming experience in Python (data manipulation, scripting, or API usage).
• Familiarity with SQL (ability to write basic queries).
• Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of at least one data/ETL tool is a plus (e.g., Talend, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, dbt, Databricks, Prefect, Informatica, etc.).
• Basic understanding of cloud concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Experience with Python libraries for data (Pandas, PySpark).
• Exposure to cloud data ecosystems (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse).
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling, star schema).
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Experience with containerization (Docker).
