Why We Need You
As a Software Engineer in Test, you’ll play a key role in building our new web and mobile app for small business owners. This app features tools designed to streamline essential business operations, such as scheduling, contact and review management, and more. The ideal candidate will bring experience in implementing testing strategies for both mobile and web applications.
The Impact You’ll Have
- Develop a deep understanding of the application under development.
- Implement Flutter integration tests to cover major product workflows and ensure seamless functionality across all platforms.
- Participate in product design meetings to anticipate and address current and future testing needs.
- Provide valuable input on tests during product engineer code reviews, including unit, widget, and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and identify issues to improve application performance and stability.
- Continuously identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance software efficiency.
What We Really Need From You
- 0 to 3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education).
- Familiarity with Flutter/Dart, TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
- Experience providing test creation guidance for product engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English, suitable for success in a remote and asynchronous work environment.
What Would Be Big Pluses
- Knowledge of Flutter Test, Flutter Integration, and Mocktail is a plus.
- Knowledge of Playwright.
