Job Description


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the United States.

This CTO role offers a unique opportunity to define the technology vision and platform strategy for a rapidly evolving AI-powered Entrepreneur Operating System. You will lead the modernization of legacy systems into a scalable, modular, API-first architecture while embedding AI and automation into core workflows. The role combines hands-on architectural leadership with organizational development, ensuring engineering teams operate efficiently and deliver high-impact outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technology with business strategy, accelerate product velocity, and enable sustainable growth. Accountabilities:

  • Define and execute the multi-year technology vision and platform architecture for an AI-powered operating system
  • Lead modernization initiatives, transitioning legacy systems into modular, event-driven, and API-first platforms
  • Architect and maintain an open API ecosystem for partners, third-party developers, and internal squads
  • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing engineering organization with a culture of ownership, velocity, and craftsmanship
  • Partner with Product, Data, and AI teams to embed intelligence, automation, and predictive workflows across core systems
  • Ensure platform reliability, monitoring, security, and developer experience meet enterprise-grade standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to translate technology strategy into business impact and enterprise value


Requirements

  • 12+ years of engineering leadership experience, including scaling high-growth platforms, SaaS, or tech-enabled services
  • Proven success modernizing complex architectures and delivering API-first, modular, or event-driven systems
  • Experience leading AI or automation-driven product development in partnership with Data/ML teams
  • Strong architectural and technical problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity into scalable solutions
  • Exceptional leadership presence with experience building trust, aligning teams, and driving execution
  • Deep operational excellence, including reliability, quality, development velocity, and engineering rigor
  • Strategic thinker with a builder's mindset, decisive, resourceful, and committed to momentum
