Responsibilities
- Design and build an advanced application for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Monitoring the performance of live apps and working on optimizing them at the code level
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
- 4 years of development experience in Android App Development as Mobile App Developer
- Strong knowledge of Google’s Android design principles and guidelines
- Experience with location-based services and mapping APIs (e.g., Google Maps, HERE, TomTom), commonly used in automotive applications for vehicle positioning and route planning.
- Experience with Android SDK, third-party libraries and APIs
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Familiarity with various testing tools
- You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
- Candidate must be based in Poland
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive industry
- German language (B2 level)
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, CI/CD
- Good time management skills
