About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist (GenAI) to join our innovation team at Orion Innovation. This role involves designing, training, and deploying next-generation AI solutions, leveraging large language models (LLMs) and modern data engineering tools to drive automation and intelligence across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Generative AI (GenAI) solutions using advanced ML and NLP techniques.
- Analyze complex datasets and implement scalable AI models.
- Design and optimize prompt engineering strategies and RAG pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI strategies and implement production-ready systems.
- Work with LLMs, vector databases, and document processing frameworks.
- Develop and deploy applications using Streamlit, Gradio, or Dash.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer with focus on AI/LLM-based models.
- Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as LangChain, FastAPI, Flask, or similar.
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of model fine-tuning, deployment platforms, and evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and AI agents.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with model evaluation, orchestration, and automation.
- Experience developing data visualization or AI dashboards.
- Familiarity with LLM lifecycle management.
