Our client is preparing for a global Workday HCM implementation and seeking an experienced Senior Workday Learning Analyst to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in configuring, optimizing, and integrating Workday Learning and Talent modules to support a multinational, compliance-driven HR environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in Workday Learning and Talent, with hands-on experience in migrating from legacy LMS/Talent systems, managing configuration and BPs, and supporting full-cycle implementations. This is a hands-on, functional role that works closely with HR, Payroll, and IT to enhance system functionality, maintain compliance with local labor and timekeeping laws, and scale operations globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Workday Learning subject matter expert, providing functional and technical support for configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with HR, Talent, and Learning teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Learning curricula, courses, programs, and campaigns within Workday.
  • Manage Learning assignments, security, and audience targeting for global employee populations.
  • Support integrations with external content providers (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Skillsoft, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Talent team to align Learning and Talent processes, including development plans, career growth, and performance enablement.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to track learning engagement and completion metrics.
  • Participate in Workday releases and testing, evaluating and implementing new functionality as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with internal IT and Workday support.
  • Deliver user training and documentation to promote adoption and effective system use.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices for Learning and Talent processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive, hands-on Workday Learning experience (configuration, BPs, requirements gathering, testing, and reporting).
  • Strong Workday Talent experience and understanding of how it integrates with Learning.
  • 3+ full lifecycle Workday Learning implementations, ideally within large or global organizations.
  • Proven success leading or supporting LMS-to-Workday Learning migrations, including data mapping, testing, and go-live readiness.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Learning courses, programs, campaigns, audiences, and security.
  • Familiarity with Workday Talent components such as performance, succession, and career development.
  • Experience supporting Workday Learning integrations with external content vendors.
  • Proficiency with Workday reporting tools (Advanced Reports, Calculated Fields, Dashboards).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead design sessions, manage project plans, and deliver results.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills and stakeholder management experience.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8–10 years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, specializing in Learning and Talent.
  • 7+ years in Workday consulting or SME roles on mid-to-large-scale HRIS projects.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and issue resolution skills.
