Senior Software Engineer – Trading Systems - C++/C# - Remote - €100,000

The role
You’ll build and improve the trading system across all layers - from market data and order entry to trading strategies, databases, and the GUI.
That includes designing and testing algorithmic trading components, maintaining resilient services, and ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll contribute ideas on architecture, reliability, and performance, working closely with traders to translate trading logic into high-quality, production-ready software.
What you’ll bring
- Solid experience as a Software Engineer, ideally full-stack or systems-oriented.
- Strong skills in C# or C++ (experience with Java, Go, or Python also welcome).
- Confidence with Linux, Docker, VM management, and basic networking setup.
- Understanding of testing, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Clear, patient communication and curiosity to understand trading ideas.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
- Based in Germany, with early-morning availability when markets open.
