Location: Richmond, VA (Relocation accepted, Schedule: 5 days onsite + 5 days remote (rotating schedule)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a Senior .NET Application Modernization Engineer with a strong application development background, not a Linux/System Engineering background.
- The ideal candidate is a true .NET developer who has hands-on experience modernizing applications, containerizing workloads, and working within cloud or hybrid environments.
- This role plays a key part in migrating legacy .NET applications into containerized architectures using Docker and Kubernetes, building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and enabling cloud readiness.
- Candidates with prior experience in OpenShift (OCP) or Azure will be given strong preference.
- Strong .NET application development experience (C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core)
- Proven application migration / modernization experience (monolith containers/cloud)
- Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Jenkins
- Ability to work in fast-paced, hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
- Modernize and migrate .NET applications to Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Work with OpenShift or Azure platforms for deployment and scaling
- Develop, test, and deploy changes across on-prem and cloud environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Support DevSecOps practices, automation initiatives, and cloud-readiness efforts
