AMS, a global workforce solutions partner, is helping Tesco IMS find an experienced Azure Engineer to lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable cloud solutions.
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Azure Engineer with a strong security mindset to lead greenfield Azure builds and deliver regulated, enterprise-grade cloud services. You will design, deploy, and secure cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in innovative, fast-moving environments and have hands-on experience with Azure security architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and implementation of complex, greenfield Azure environments.
- Design and deploy secure, compliant cloud services in line with regulatory standards.
- Configure and harden Azure services including Azure AD, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and more.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, governance, and access controls.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews across Azure workloads.
- Stay up-to-date with Azure platform updates, security features, and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience with greenfield Azure builds in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to deliver secure, regulated cloud services.
- Deep technical expertise in Azure security architecture and service configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Policy, RBAC, NSGs, firewalls, encryption, identity management.
- Strong understanding of cloud compliance frameworks and regulatory standards.
