Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (+ on call)

We're looking to recruit an SC & NPPV3 Cleared Cloud Engineer to join a leading technology consultancy. This is a hands-on role supporting a range of cloud and infrastructure services across AWS and Azure environments. You'll work with modern technologies, gain exposure to enterprise-scale systems, and collaborate closely with senior engineers in a supportive, secure setting.
This is a fully remote role with minimal travel. Due to the nature of the projects, valid SC Clearance is essential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting cloud and infrastructure services across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.
- Resolving incidents and service requests escalated from the Service Desk.
- Collaborating with engineers and project teams to maintain secure, resilient, and compliant systems.
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Updating and maintaining support documentation and technical runbooks.
- Assisting with the transition of new systems from project delivery into BAU.
- Occasionally helping with physical infrastructure tasks (e.g. hardware swaps).
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with AWS and familiar with Azure
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2012 R2 - 2022).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration and setup.
- Basic knowledge of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Interest in or experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Some scripting experience (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, or Python) beneficial.
- Active SC Clearance (essential).
